  • Thank you for your report of graffiti on the M32. We're aware of the problem with graffiti along on bridges and the central reservations.

Any graffiti which is obscene or offensive will be prioritised and removed as quickly as possible. Removal of graffiti can require specialist contractors or traffic management to keep our workforce safe. This means that it is not cost-effective to remove every instance of graffiti on its own. Graffiti which isn't deemed offensive will therefore be logged and removed during the next round of periodic cleaning taking place in the area.

Keeping the road clear of graffiti is a constant struggle. We've raised numerous jobs to have graffiti on the road painted over, only for it to be painted again.

We hope this answers your enquiry. If you have any further queries, please contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 5000 or info@highwaysengland.co.uk

    Kind regards Highways England
