Barrier fence down from grimstead road to a36

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2688457.

There is no barrier between Grimstead Road and A36 and there is evidence of foot fall and people accessing the a36 from Grimstead Road.

My concern is that children have direct access to dual carriageway from Grimstead Road.

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England concerning the lack of barrier between Grimstead Road and the A36. We appreciate you taking the time to bring this to our attention.

    We must prioritise our improvement works based on areas of greatest need. Currently, there isn't justification for us to erect a fence in this area. However, we will continue to monitor the situation and intervene if necessary.
