Unclear road markings

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2679465.

Not specifically about the current road works but generally. Where white lines have been overpainted black, and new/temporary white lines are painted, the black paint reflects the sunlight, and at certain times of day the overpainted lines appear white making it difficult to see the correct lane. Surely a more light absorbent matt black can be used

  • 15th August 21. The lines for the roadworks are very faint compared to the normal markings which haven't been removed. This makes the lane boundaries confusing and potentially dangerous.
