Appalling amount of litter and debris along the stretch of A31 between Ringwood and Stoney Cross

I have never seen such a depressing amount of litter and debris along this stretch of road, made all the more saddening that it's in the middle of such a beautiful and natural area. Old car bits, tyres, huge pieces of plastic and all manner of junk. I would litter pick it myself but its a very fast road and somewhat dangerous.
