Litter on sliproad verges

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2677839.

Huge amounts of litter. It is disgusting. You are in breach of your statutory duty to keep the highway clear of litter. You must remove the litter within 28 days, as per the Litter Code of Practice. This is a litter hotspot. You need to keep on top of it. Litter begets more litter.

  • Thank you for your patience whilst our inspector reviewed your report.

    Our inspector visited the location and a reactive job has been raised to clear the litter at this location. This will done within the next two months.

    Although we always aim to complete the repairs as planned, the date may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
