Traffic Exhiting the A1 southbound at high speeds

Reported via desktop in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 10:34, Tue 6 April 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2655016.

The traffic exiting the A1 do so at high speeds, the Woolfox Depot exit road means that cars turning left to exit the Woolfox car parks, suddenly find that cars who have exited the A1 south are hurtling towards them at speeds commensurate with motorways. Exiting vehicles do not slow there speeds and there are no speed warning signs on the exit road. In inclement weather and during unlit winter Nights this is an accident waiting to happen. Pedestrians also use this road during dinner breaks for exercise.

There should be electric warning signs installed to regulate speeds of exiting traffic.
