Extensive litter

The litter along this stretch of road from Brighton to Shoreham is awful. It’s been present for months and despite sections of the road being closed for repair works around the Southwick tunnel there seems to be no effort to use these road closures as safe opportunities to clear up the rubbish? The is part of the national park and an absolute disgrace! Where does our council tax money go?
