Sent to National Highways less than a minute later
I have travelled the M5,M42,M1,M62,A63 into Hull a total of 594 miles both ways and I have never been so disgusted with the endless rubbish, bits of vehicles all the way. The motorways are a hazard to wildlife and road users especially motorcycles. Why cut the verges without doing a litter pick.!!? Not a mile of clean verges. Why do I pay road tax.?
Thank you for contacting Highways England about litter following the cutting of the verges on the M5.
We carry out a litter pick once the cutting has been completed in a location.
