Birds nesting under the bridge and pooing

Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 11:23, Sat 27 March 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2636713.

Birds allowed to nest causing vast amounts of bird poo on the bridge walls, ceiling and walkway causing a health hazard to the local public. No deterrent to stop birds i.e steel mesh or boarding. The acid in bird droppings is badly damaging the concrete of the bridge and no maintenance is being carried out on the bridge to deter nor disinfect areas.
