Surface problem on end of Cuckoo Trail bridge

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 14:08, Tue 16 March 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2612717.

There is a 75 x 225 mm gap in the surface, and a member of the public want to claim for a broken bicycle wheel. Does Highways England maintain the surface of the bridge or is this down to the local authority? Please can you reply to me - andy.mitchell@eastsussex.gov.uk Thanks
