Unauthorised Tree Cutting on Embankment

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 13:52, Thu 11 March 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2601722.

There appears to be quite a bit of development on a caravan site at the junction of Danesbury Park Road and Pottersheath Road, Welwyn of late. In tandem there have been trees cut down along the length of the site and on the embankment side of the A1 North. I'm aware there was much activity in the new year and people in high visibility jackets working from the hard shoulder cutting trees. The recent episode was around 10pm on Friday night and sure enough more tress have disappeared. Considering myself and other residents further along can't receive a satellite signal because of the trees I don't see why this particular site should get away with this.
