  • Thank you for contacting Highways England.

We have been to site at the beginning of March and carried out some repairs under traffic management, the problem is the age of the lighting at Halvergate. Its SOX lighting which is now obsolete and no spare parts are available. Our scheme delivery team are currently in the design stage for a full redesign. In the meantime we are trying to secure a suitable LED lantern that can be safely placed on top of the ageing columns, this isn’t ideal but we are working to get this resolved as soon as possible.

    Kind Regards Highways England
