Why have you closed my report with no response ?

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2565903.

Both sides of the a27 between southwick tunnel and falmer plus the central reservation are an utter disgrace with litter , builders bags and other large objects that have clearly blown off of refuse lorries and vans

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England about the amount of litter observed along the A27 between Southwick Tunnel and Falmer. However litter responsibilities on A-roads under the terms of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 lie with Local Authorities, in this case Brighton & Hove City Council. They can be contacted at cityclean@brighton-hove.gov.uk to report and understand how they manage their responsibilities. Acknowledging your concerns we will raise own own report to them.
