Litter absolutely covering both banks of A63

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2562173.

The banks of the A63 from South Cave all the way into Hull are completely covered in litter and debris, including materials left by road teams. It is absoultey disgraceful and looks like some third world shanty town. what are you going to do about this.

  • Thank you for your patience whilst our inspector reviewed your report. We can advise litter is not the responsibility of Highways England on trunk roads such as the A63. The responsibility for litter remains under the remit of the relevant Local Authority under the EPA environmental protection act. In this case it would be East Riding Council or Hull Council dependant on the location.
