Huge amounts of litter on embankment of M40 bordering Tetsworth, Oxfordshire

Reported via desktop in the Litter (NH) category anonymously at 20:47, Sat 20 February 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2560280.

There is an abundance of litter all along the embankment side of the motorway where all the trees were cut back. The villagers are complaining about this as we are not permitted to clear the area due to fences.

Updates

  • Very pleased with Eegis who picked up all the litter - 26 bags full apparently. All rubbish thrown out of vehicles using the M40 between Junctions 6 & 7. Selfish lazy drivers who should take their rubbish home. Thank you!
