Road surface full of potholes

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 07:49, Fri 19 February 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2555828.

Road surface is appalling. Surface is cracked and breaking up. There are so many potholes it’s hard to drive around the roundabout and avoid them. It’s on the north side of the roundabout on the inside lane when you head onto the eastbound m27 or go around to the a36 south

Updates

  • I agree with the report on the surface here. When you come round the corner the potholes are horrendous.

  • Keeps getting moved between Hampshire CC and Highways England. Each believes the other should be maintaining this road

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • The 10m section is a hazard to not only motorcyclists due to the depth of the very large cracks, but is now becomig a hazard to cars and lorries as well. Cracks are in excess of 30cm wide, over 10cm deep and over 10meters, yes meters, long. It has been getting worse for over a year. Does someone have to die here before they fix it?

  • Looks like someone has attempted to fill in some of the missing sections but not very convincingly. Whole surface needs doing

  • Have gone over this today and the road has now been fully repaired

    State changed to: Fixed
