Upper shoreham road roundabout A27 junction

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2538684.

Leaving the upper shoreham roundabout, joining the A27 I stuck a pothole which caused damage to my car leaving me with a flat tyre which is beyond repair.. needs replacing this tyre was new on the vehicle. This caused bad damage to my vehicle and would like to hear back what will be done about this as if this was a motor bike this could of been more dangerous...

  • Thank you for your report. Our inspector reviewed the location during his weekly safety inspection on 17 February 2021, when 2 small, shallow potholes were recorded on the roundabout exit, which have been passed to our maintenance partner for repair. He observed larger pothole defects on the roundabout, which is owned and maintained by West Sussex Highways.
