There agave been many potholes here over the last few months but they seem to have increased in number and have got worse since the snow , I’m surprised an accident hasn’t happened people swerving all over the road to avoid them

Thank you for contacting Highways England about the condition of the A2 carriageway at this location.
We are aware of such issues and a full scheme of repair works are planned within this financial year. At the time of writing I am, unfortunately unable to confirm precisely when these works will take place, however these will be within the next 3 months.
In the meantime we will continue to monitor the condition of the A2 and will instruct any necessary temporary repairs if deemed necessary.
Kind regards Highways England

This section of potholes is so dangerous, today 27/03/21 around 13.30pm a lorry burst a tyre, police attended, massive delays. A month prior a lorry went off the road and Jack knifed cashing closure of road. Due to this section! There's been resurfacing works to other areas of the road which didn't need upgrading? This section has deteriorated so badly only a matter of time before fatal accident
