Hi, The traffic lights here have been stopping traffic traveling east and west on the A27 too frequently. This problem is particularly bad at night/outside of rush hours. The vast majority of traffic (must be 95%+) at these lights travels east or west without turning off the A27. For the last few weeks, the lights are constantly cycling. This problem is definitely worse at night and when there is less traffic around. The typical cycle seems to be green for 5-10 seconds on the A27, then red to allow green lights for traffic from Coombes Road and Old Shoreham Road to join. It's really frustrating to be stopped at these lights every time I'm driving east/west on the A27, which I do most evenings/nights. In the last few weeks, I have yet to see a car trying to turn onto the A27 whilst the lights change, so I think the sensors are faulty. It makes no sense to me for all the traffic using the A27 to be stopped so frequently when nobody is joining the road. Please can this be looked at and sensors be repaired or a more sensible light cycle, i.e green for 1-2 mins for the A27 lights so that the vast majority of the traffic can flow better. Thanks
