There is an excessive amount of litter along the slip roads on and off the A27 from the Langstone Roundabout and along the A27. This is an eyesore, extremely detrimental to the environment and, when washed into the water courses by heavy rain, a hazard to wild life and the oceans. Given increased public awareness of environmental pollution and its impact on the natural world, this is unacceptable. I personally collect litter from the sea front and the Billy Trail, all of which have a potential for polluting the seas.
Thank you for contacting Highways England. concerning litter along the A27. We shall look into this issue and aim to provide a response by 18 February.
Can we please ask that you check back on this date for an update.
