Numerous Potholes

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2519487.

There are numerous potholes in the Dover bound carriageway of the A2 either side of the bridge over the A2 from Upper Harbledown.

I photographed one of these potholes on 6 December 2020, it had led to the police closing the inside lane at the time as it created a serious hazard to traffic.

Six weeks later in early January 2021 the same pothole required further attention which it duly received.

Today, 2 February 2021, the repair is breaking up once more!

This is an ongoing saga with potholes on both carriageways of this stretch of the A2. Why are they not repaired properly? It is such an extreme waste of public funds for your contractors to keep returning to the same potholes!
