Flooding occurs on this slip road at times completely across the road.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2517557.

This flooding issue has been here for 10 YEARS, the original WARNING sign was placed by Amey Mouchell, who were contractors with Atkins as M.A. who I worked for. This issue has never been resolved. You have a sign warning of the issue, but on previous reports, the normal gullys need cleaning response, then further investigation is required, followed by, a bigger issue, will monitor the situation. Please detail your actions so far and the DATE this is to be resolved.

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England about flooding on the A14.

    We are aware of this and a new drainage system is in the planning stage at the moment. This should be delivered this year.

    We will provide a further update to confirm when the work has been completed.
