Team are cutting back vital vegetation that is stopping air and noise polluton

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 11:41, Tue 26 January 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2502164.

I over look the A38 Parkway from Tyndale close - and the only thing protecting our property from the 24/7 noise and air pollution from this road is the folliage from trees and laurel bushes. This morning a team arrived and started cutting this back so we can now see the traffic and the noise has increased tremendously. Never been cut back in 37 yrs. Also this is now a Health and Safety issue as people can access the A38 over this point where they couldn't before, we have already had incidents before it got "overgrown" of people coming over from Kitto Centre - children can now access the road where before they were stopped by the brambles and hedges. We also had hedgehogs living in the brambles. Unbelievable thoughtless acts which will cause nothing but misery to the residents for years to come now.
