Footbridge covered in dead and rotting leaves, M60 jct 2 Roscoes roundabout

Reported via mobile in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 09:43, Mon 25 January 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2499577.

There is thick rotting leaves and other debris covering the footbridge steps, this is making the steps extremely slippy especially when it is icy. Although the roundabout has had updates to the pavements around the roundabout a lot of people still use the footbridge. The worst section is the side by Abney Hall, although both sides could do with clearing, also the top of the bridge tends to hold water and covers the top section in ice when it freezes so whether the drains are blocked may need investigating.
