Dip or lump in road surface A34 Southbound
Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 13:05, Sat 23 January 2021
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later
There has been a problem with the road surface here for a couple of months at least. This particularly noticeable when lorries drive over them - the noise created by the passing lorries is quite substantial and noisy for residents who live in close proximity. It often sounds like thunder and rattles windows. With the regularity of lorries passing (and the number who ignore the speed limit) this is becoming increasingly irritating for local residents who already have to put up with constant traffic noise. Due to the location it is too dangerous to take any photos.
