Severe litter problem

The litter on both sides of the A38 has increased over the past few years.

The highways agency/council has cut away all of the gorse and wildlife coverage but have left all of the residual plastic litter behind.

A litter pick should be instructed to pick up after the idiots who haven’t yet been trained to place their litter into a bin. Community service hours would be appropriate for the task or those who are spending their time in prison/not working, this is a highly effective way of keeping the litter down in other counties, so may be worth consideration here.
