A member of the public has reported to Devon County Council that the M5 overbridge at Junction 29 is damaged. The damage was reported in September but has only just been forwarded to me as Devon County Structures inspector for the area. The damage is above the west bound A30 bus lane and appears to be spalling of the soffit at one of the construction or expansion joints. I can forward on the photos provided by the MOP if required. I have not inspected the damage myself however I do no consider the issue to be urgent. Please contact me if you need further information.
