Badly worn surface and sunken drain
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2472822.
HGVs using the road cause adverse vibration and noise when passing over sunken drain and outside no 11 Cheltenham Road and the badly worn surface outside number 16 Cheltenham Road. It’s particularly noticeable at night and is disturbing our sleep.

Thank you for your patience whilst our inspector reviewed your report.
Our inspector did not witness any issues with noise coming from the sunken drain.
Our inspector also checked the badly worn surface you reported and agrees that remedial work is needed to ensure the safety of road users.
As such, we will now schedule these repairs alongside other commitments and safety critical work on this section of the network. Unfortunately I don’t have a date this will be done as of yet.
Although we always aim to complete the repairs as planned, the date may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
