Sent to National Highways less than a minute later
The street lighting on the A47 from the B1140 junction (to Cantley) to where the A47 becomes one lane in each direction has not had the street lighting working for months now. As this is a dangerous accident hotspot, they should be working to assist visibility.
Thank you for contacting Highways England
We started some high level repairs and lamp changes at North Burlingham on 8 December and are due to go back over the next couple of weeks.
We will be replacing all lamps and carrying out repairs to bring the lighting back to a working order.
I do believe there are some quite major cabling faults around this part of the A47 which are going to be addressed soon, as there are some third party works/improvements at this location and we will carry out our repairs at the same time to ensure the impact is lessened for everyone in the area.
State changed to: No further action
