Updates

  • Resident at 117 has reported heavy litter along this section and bramble overgrowing from land onto carriageway. I have had litter cleaned by my street cleansing teams, however there is work required on brashing back and more frequent litter picks for full length of Lower Lime Road.

  • WITHOUT PREJUDICE

REFERENCE: FMS2446177 AREA: LOWER LIME ROAD OL8 3NP

    Dear Sirs,

It has been over two months since I reported the fly tipping and general untidiness of the land I believe is owned by yourselves and also the large bramble bush (OPPOSITE 117 LOWER LIME ROAD), as per the attached picture which is now attracting rats and needs to be removed.

The whole area along Lower Lime Road has not been cleared for over 18 months and I believe you are required to clean this at least 4 times a year.

The public path which leads to daisy nook and the bypass which I also believe you own is nothing short if a dumping ground and breading ground for rats and other vermin.

I have received two emails from yourselves advising the area has been cleaned and then quoting a different postcode and area. (Please read the information provided).

Please treat this matter as urgent as there is a serious issues of potential rat infestation and its looks extremely unsightly and people are unable to use the footpath due to the rubbish accumulating along there.

If you were also responsible for the recent repairs at the bottom of the public path you may need to send someone to look at this as it water logged.

I expect that someone will respond to me within 5 working days or I will be forced to take legal action.

    Kind Regards

  • There is still a huge issue with the bramble bushes that haven't been cut back these need removing and treating so they don't return. The land also requires the bushes and trees to be cut back, i was assured this would be twice a year and no one has been for at least 18 months. Regards Laura
