Broken street lighting at M6 Junction 2 roundabout

Reported via desktop in the Street lighting (NH) category anonymously at 18:38, Sun 29 November 2020

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2410601.

Around half the streetlights round the roundabout don't work. Additionally none seem to be working on the M6 southbound entry sliproad. The streetlights on the B4065 don't work either. These are Highways England responsibility as they have your asset numbers on them.

  • Thank you for your patience whilst our inspector reviewed your report.

Our engineer has visited the location and agrees that remedial work is needed to repair the lights.

As such, a repair is planned and added to our future maintenance programme. Unfortunately I don't have an exact date this scheduled to take place. Although we always aim to complete the repairs as planned, the date may change due to unforeseen circumstances.

    Kind regards Highways England
