Reported via mobile in the Electronic Sign (NH) category anonymously at 19:57, Sunday 27 September 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 10159215.

The ground-mounted electromechanical prism/Trivision direction sign on the M180 Eastbound approach towards Junction 5 (Barnetby Top) exhibits severe structural enclosure failure. The lower housing channel and red border strip present and whereas other bits of the sign isn't showing the red border or showing the rest of the sign. Which this exposing the internal prism mechanism to the elements. Under high wind loading, there is a risk of further component or panel detachment onto the embankment or carriageway. Urgent structural repair and re-securing of the sign enclosure are required.
