Sink hole

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 21:50, Wednesday 23 September 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 10142723.

There’s a massive sink hole which is known about, however this is becoming dangerous to pedestrians and cyclists. It’s now sinking even further and going onto the cycle track where there isn’t any barrier. This is about 8 ft or more. It needs to be investigated quickly! Before long they’ll be no footpath to walk or it’s going to sink as someone’s walking/cycling. It’s just a temporary fix of sand which isn’t going to last much longer.
