Potholes everywhere

The whole road, including over the bridge is full of potholes. It is almost impossible to drive on. Cars are being damaged everyday. Kent County Council have claimed HIghways England are fixing the road before the end of the year however on a recent report on this website it states KCC should be fixing the issues. What is going on?!

This whole road is ruining everyone’s car working in this location. There are potholes everywhere to the point where you can’t avoid them. This road is dangerous.

Thank you for your report. We're sorry to hear about the potholes on Hawkesbury Street and the disruption they are causing road users in the area. We can confirm the location you've highlighted on Hawkesbury Street is outside of our network. Our network and responsibility cover the Strategic Road Network (SRN), which near this location would be the A20. We're unsure why Kent County Council have advised that it’s National highways as the A20 (Court Wood to Dover Section) (Side Roads) Order 1990 shows that the road around the area in question, Hawkesbury Street, was created as a new highway. The order states this was transferred to the Local Highway Authority, which in this instance is Kent County Council (KCC).
Should you have any queries regarding the maintenance of Hawkesbury Street, this would need to be discussed with KCC directly.
