Fence damage

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 10037865.

The fence between the A27/A29 and a children's park, Hunters Mews BN18 0UU is falling over. This could see children going through the little wooded area onto the major A road.

  • Thank you for your report which was shared with our fencing asset team.

    They've reviewed the location and advise that we have no fencing assets in the area. They further advise that if you're referring to the post and rail fence immediately adjacent to the A27, this belongs to the adjacent landowner.

    If though you're referring to the fence next to the park, this fence doesn't border our land. The land between the park and the A27 is owned by the National Trust, while the play area is owned by Arun DC.

    They conclude this fence will be owned by either of the above, but most likely by Arun DC.

    We're sorry we can't resolve this matter, but hope this information is helpful.
