Damaged retaining wall

I recently crossed the foot bridge over the river near Winterbourne Abbas church and noticed that the based of the retaining wall supporting the road had large holes along its base. It looked to me like the sort of damage I have often seen where acid sulphate attack weakens the concrete leading to erosion of the wall base. It is probably not urgent, but if not dealt will eventually result in the collapse of the wall and loss of part of the Highway.
