Speed Light not working causing speeding issues through the village

Reported anonymously at 16:40, Thu 23 December 2021

There is a 30 mile an hour speed light that flashes when cars are driving too fast approaching the Bayston Hill village, this is on the A49 vehicles approaching from Condover and Church Stretton towards Shrewsbury. The Light is on the left hand side just as you reach Bayston Hill before the Compasses Public House which is on the right. This has not been working for some time now and residents are concerned, even though there is no speed camera on this section of the A49 going through Bayston Hill, the camera does slow vehicles down especially the large lorries that speed up as the A49 goes down hill towards Shrewsbury If this could be fixed please asap we would be grateful as it is a safety issue for the local community,
