One entry to roundabout vehicles are using lane 1 incorrectly causing numerous near miss accidents.

The three lanes approach to Spittals from Brampton has recently been changed. Updates have been made to road markings and signage which are working well apart from one issue. Lane 1 is now for turning left only. This is signed correctly via road signs and on road markings, however, some drivers are using it as a lane to still go straight ahead pushing into traffic in lane 2 - this in turn causes traffic in lane 2 to deviate over into lane 3 traffic. I have witnessed this happening every day. Can cones, or something similar, be placed to stop drivers in lane 1 accessing lane 2? I note that if lorrys are in Lane 2 you have lots of cars using lane 1 in a bid to get ahead of the lorrys - it is becoming very dangerous as more and more drivers seem to be using this 'trick'.
